A flavorful double cheeseburger prepared on an open-fire charcoal grill with brioche buns, sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, and homemade ranch dressing.

Instructions
1. Make ranch dressing at least 1 hour ahead of time and refrigerate. 2. Light charcoal and wait for white ash. Add wood chunks and wait for a strong coal base. 3. Slice onion and tomato, wash and dry lettuce, mix seasoning, portion brown sugar, and arrange on a sheet pan. 4. Cook bacon in skillet on grill, then finish on grates. Reserve 4 tablespoons of bacon grease. 5. Toast brioche buns on grill cut-side down until lightly golden. 6. Cook onion rounds over indirect heat, add bacon grease and brown sugar, flip until tender. 7. Grill patties over direct heat and embers, season with blend, flip and cook to desired doneness, add cheese last 2 minutes. 8. Layer each burger starting with bottom bun with ranch dressing, followed by lettuce, tomato, patties, caramelized onions, crispy bacon, and top bun with ranch on top. 9. Slice in half and serve immediately.
