Korean Steak Tacos

What you need

clove garlic

tbsp ginger

cup soy sauce

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp black pepper

tbsp sesame oil

cup sugar

cup brown sugar

cup daikon radish

cup cabbage

tsp mirin

tbsp hoisin sauce

tsp chili flakes

tsp poppy seed

cup mayo

lb skirt steak

oz queso fresco
Instructions
Marinating the Steak 0 To make marinade, mince garlic and ginger first in the food processor. 1 Chop onion. Peel and chop Asian pear. Add onion, pear and soy sauce into food processor and puree. 8 Then, add in the cayenne, black pepper, sesame oil, both sugars, and vinegar. Puree just enough to combine the ingredients. 2 Marinade steak in this mixture for 12-24 hours in the refrigerator. Making the Salsa 3 Once steak has marinated, gather ingredients for your salsa. 4 Chop your daikon radish, cabbage, red onion, and bell pepper. In a bowl, combine chopped vegetables with the remaining salsa ingredients. Mix well and then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Sauce 5 Gather mayo, sesame oil and pureed chipotle pepper. Mix them together well. Assemble Tacos 6 Remove steak from marinade. Salt the steak and grill the steak to mid-rare. Remove steak to rest.
