What you need

lb sausage links, or your choice of links

slice bacon

oz extra sharp cheddar cheese, cubed

oz cream cheese, room temperature, softened

jalapeno, diced

tbsp pork roast
Instructions
0 Preheat Smoker to 275°F. Cut cheddar cheese into 12 cubes (1/2 inch x 1/2 inch). 1 Cut Sausage Links into 1 inch thick slices. Cut Bacon in 1/2. You should have 12 small links and 12 slices of bacon. 2 Wrap slices of bacon around each sausage, allowing space on one side for cream cheese filling. Hold together with toothpick. 3 Mix together cream cheese filling: cream cheese, diced jalapeño and pork rub. 4 Place a cube of cheese into the "pig shot" and fill the rest with cream cheese filling. 5 Cook Pig Shots on the smoker for 1 hr and 15 minutes.View original recipe
